Education in Nepal

Education play very important part in human life. People called education is a knowledge of light, if a person is uneducated his/her life become worst and meaningless. In general sense, education is learning of some knowledgeable things and skills in a certain place, in a group, in meeting and in a school or college.

Today, 21st century girls n boys have equal right but in some countries boy students are more than girl students like in Nepal, India, Pakistan etc. Parent did not see education is important to their girls children they thought that girls should not work outside. If parent still have same mindset today, their life will be difficult and face many problem which affect the society and also nation.
Nowadays, government give a priority for study and established many school and college even in rural sector by organised awareness program. If people are uneducated they will face many problem like cannot get a job, health problem, mistake in calculation, cannot read and write. Education is important to all age of people there is no age bar.
 Education make human life easier they can maintain their health, make a confident, make happy and stable life, successful, employment, develop, increase economic growth, respect the elder and love the younger behave people in good manner. Education is formally categorized in several level  preschool, primary school, secondary school, and college or university.

Formal level of Education in Nepal

(I).Preschool 

Preschool is also called Montessori, or Kindergarten where small children study in the age of 3 years to 6 years. Their children happily learn various activities in good environment like educational program, education tour, outdoor games, indoor games, napping, learning, family value etc. First step is to study in preschool where they learn letters, numbers, and shapes. Children spend most of their time to playing, working with a materials which make them active. Study in individual, small groups and whole group its depend in a school. In a class, playing games, teacher retelling stories, teaching rhymes and dancing for making class interesting which help them physical development and early learning. School take responsibility of their student so parents feel secure to send in a school.

(II). School Education

(a).Primary School 

Primary School or elementary school is starting normally at the ages of about five to twelve, before join secondary school in Nepal. In primary level, their student study from grade one to grade five. Nowadays, In many countries, primary school is compulsory for children to be educate. They studies many subject in school like mathematics, science, social, health education and geography. Education helps to change society, health care, confident, and creates opportunity which helps to improve economic condition in countries. In Nepal there are many private school with compere public (government) School. In government school, primary school is the first step to study further where in private school, preschool's study is first step and then primary school's study.

(b).Secondary School

Secondary School is starting at the age of twelve to sixteen years. In grade 6 to 8 that called lower secondary and 9 to 10  that called secondary level after then Higher Secondary Level. In Secondary School there are many subject where six subject are compulsory which are English, Mathematics, Science, Social, Health and Population and Nepali and other are optional where student can choose or school choose according to the school.
